Good
news too all Lumia smartphone users! Microsoft has confirmed via its Twitter
account that all Lumia Windows 8 smartphones will have a mobile version of
Windows 10 when it’s released.
Microsoft tweeted, "We plan to upgrade all Windows Phone 8 devices to Windows 10 in the future." Microsoft's Windows 10 remains in early development, so the company obviously isn't revealing details as to when that update will arrive.
The Microsoft’s next big move will unite the
Windows OS so that it will be compatible to phones, tablets and PCs. Windows 10
will be available sometime next year and is currently in development stage.
It’s nice to see
that Microsoft is really trying their best to update even old phones with less
RAM to its latest Windows OS. We know Microsoft's decision to ditch all WP7
phones when switching to WP8 was a huge blow to the fans and the Windows Phone
OS popularity itself. But apparently Microsoft has learned a valuable lesson
since then and won't make the same mistake again.
