Google Unveils “Messenger” App And Is Now Available For Download in Play Store!

Google has recently released its new app, called the “Messenger” along with the arrival of Android 5.0 Lollipop. And you know what's best of all? You can download it today. Messenger is now available in the Google Play Store.

With the release of Android 4.4 Kitkat almost a year where the Google Hangout app was still a simple web mail service incorporated to an SMS app which is installed on the Nexus range. This app had to be used to send and receive SMS much to the contempt of some users.

Messenger is a standalone app for SMS and MMS with no faulty integration of Hangout was shipped initially with devices like Nexus 6 and Nexus 9 that comes with Android 5.0 Lollipop. A standalone app for SMS and MMS
