Nokia
caught us off guard with the launch of its tablet in the name of NOKIA N1, along with it is the new
launcher for Android users, called the Z
Launcher.
This new launcher takes a different approach to your home screen, by displaying 6 apps,
contacts or web links that users are most likely used everyday. The main features of the
Nokia Z
Launcher, a handwriting recognition feature. It allows users to find apps quickly by scribbling app
names anywhere on the screen: crossing a T will bring up Twitter and other apps
that start with the letter.

Nokia
has also updated Z Launcher ahead of its public through beta version with
improvements to speed and performance, scribble recognition, and its prediction
algorithm that pulls up apps users will need most. Plus, Z Launcher is
compatible with smartphones which are running under Android 4.1 and supports
rooted Android devices as well. The user can directly download the Nokia Z Launcher free on the
Google Play Store app store.
