LG is
finally releasing the LG G Watch R in the Philippines this December specifically this coming December 1, but it's still subject to when the Bureau of
Custom will send them out of the ports.
The
2nd-generation smartwatch thrives the original G Watch which has a
square face while G Watch R has a rounded face with OLED display, thus the R
suffix in the name.
LG G Watch R specs:
- 1.3-inch P-OLED Display @ 320×320 pixels
- 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400
- 512MB RAM
- 4GB internal storage
- 9-Axis (Gyro/ Accelerometer/ Compass)
- Barometer
- photoplethysmography (PPG) sensor – to monitor heartbeat
- Dust and Water Resistant (IP67)
- 410mAh battery
- Android Wear OS
The
original G Watch were sold for US$229 in the US Play Store and also released in the
Philippines a couple of months ago at Php8,990. Let's just hope that LG G Watch R will be sold at the same price.
