Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini specs and review!

Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini is the mini version of Galaxy S5 which is more relaxing in style but nevertheless maintains the being of its predecessor.  It is a 4.5-inch Android phone which contains a 1.4GHz quad core processor and 8MP camera. It doesn’t have a Full HD screen and exciting camera of the Galaxy S5 but still it has a sensible resolution equipped in any Samsung devices.

Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini Design & Features:

Galaxy S5 Mini measures at 9.1mm thick and weighs 120g making it thicker and heavier compare to the S4 Mini. Speaker and camera sensor with LED flash with sensor features on the S5 though isn’t accurate can be found at the back of the phone.

Infrared (IR) blaster to turn the S5 Mini into a universal remote control and body is still IP67 certified dust and water-resistant. Galaxy S5 Mini retains the fingerprint reader, but micro USB 3.0 support is gone which means faster data rates to transfer files, music and video is a problem.

Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini Screen:

The Galaxy S5 Mini is the advance version of S4 Mini which has 4.5-inches screen, 0.2-inches larger and is using Corning Gorilla Glass 3 resulting in higher 720p resolution.

Galaxy S5 Mini has a super AMOLED display same with its predecessor meaning bright and colourful screen.

Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini Performance:

Compared to S4 Mini, Galaxy S5 Mini is equipped with 1.4GHz quad-core Samsung Exynos 3470 CPU with 1.5GB RAM. It’s very helpful doing everyday tasks without any signs of struggle but with a little lag frame rate issues especially if you’re playing heavy games like racing. With this Galaxy S5 Mini core, it seems it’s faster compare to rival HTC One Mini 2 and Moto G but it seem weaker than that of Xperia Z1 which has 2.2GHz quad-core with 2GB RAM.

Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini Camera:

Galaxy S5 Mini has 8MP camera which is reasonable for any Samsung devices, but lacks ISOCELL sensor, hybrid and Phase Detect autofocus features compare to Galaxy S5.

Front camera is 2.1MP which is above average photo if you want to take selfie and it has the ability to take video at maximum Full HD (1080p).
